Writer
A quiet, offline place to put words. No accounts, no clutter, nothing that isn't your text.
What it does
- Opens straight into a blank page and starts saving as you type — no naming ceremony.
- Real files in a real folder you choose, on Android and desktop Chrome.
- A save status that's always honest: saved, unsaved, or autosave off — and it says so, loudly, before you'd ever lose something.
- Typewriter scrolling, themes, fonts, word goals — all optional, all persisted.
- Works fully offline. Cloud upload exists, but it's off unless you turn it on.
One file, three ways to run it
In a browserJust this page. Nothing to install.
On a phoneAdd to Home Screen — works offline, feels native.
As an Android appA real APK with access to a real folder.
All three come from the exact same file, built from the exact same commit — there's no separate "web version" that can fall behind. When a new version ships, this page updates within a minute, and the Android download above refreshes right along with it.
